Pre and postnatal yoga is a gentle form of exercise that can help expectant and new mothers stay healthy and relaxed during and after pregnancy.

What is PRE & POSTNATAL Yoga TTC?

Pre and postnatal yoga can be a wonderful way for expectant and new mothers to stay healthy and relaxed during and after pregnancy. With the guidance of a qualified instructor and some precautions, pre and postnatal yoga can help mothers build a strong foundation of health and wellness for themselves and their babies.

Pregnancy is a transformative experience that can bring many changes to a woman's body, mind, and emotions. Physically, a woman's body undergoes numerous changes during pregnancy, including weight gain, changes in hormone levels, and the growth and development of the fetus. These changes can lead to common pregnancy symptoms such as morning sickness, fatigue, and swelling.

These courses provide yoga teachers with the knowledge and skills they need to create safe and effective yoga classes for expectant and new mothers. After completion of this course, the teacher is certified pre and post-natal coach by Yoga Alliance which has international validity.

Prenatal Yoga TTC will enable you to become a Prenatal Coach to provide support and guidance to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancy journey and help them to navigate the complexities of pregnancy and childbirth and promote the health and well-being of both mother and child.

Is Pre and post natal Yoga Safe?

It's important to find a qualified instructor who has experience teaching pre and post-natal yoga. Some precautions to keep in mind include:

  • Avoid overstretching: During pregnancy, the hormone relaxin can make joints and ligaments more flexible, which can increase the risk of injury. It's important to avoid overstretching and to use props, such as blankets or blocks, for support.
  • Listen to your body: During pregnancy and after giving birth, the body is going through many changes. It's important to listen to your body and only do what feels comfortable and safe.
  • Avoid poses that compress the belly: Poses that compress the belly, such as deep twists or backbends, should be avoided during pregnancy.
  • Take breaks: During pregnancy and after giving birth, it's important to take breaks as needed and avoid overexertion.

What will be covered in the course?
  • Anatomy and physiology of pregnancy and childbirth: Yoga teachers will learn about the physical changes that occur during pregnancy and childbirth and how these changes can impact a woman's yoga practice.
  • Asana modifications: Yoga teachers will learn how to modify traditional yoga poses to make them safe and accessible for pregnant women and new mothers.
  • Breathwork and meditation: Yoga teachers will learn how to teach breathing and meditation techniques that can help expectant and new mothers relax and reduce stress.
  • Sequencing and class planning: Yoga teachers will learn how to create safe and effective yoga sequences for expectant and new mothers.
  • Teaching methodology: Yoga teachers will learn how to teach pre and postnatal yoga in a way that is inclusive and empowering for all students.

what-is-garbhsamskara

Significance of Garbhsamskara

Garbha Samskara is an ancient Hindu practice that involves a series of rituals, mantras, and practices that are performed during pregnancy. It is believed that these practices can help to create a positive and nurturing environment for the developing fetus and promote its physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Garbha Samskara is based on the idea that the unborn child can receive positive influences from the surrounding environment, including the mother's physical and emotional state, her thoughts, and her actions. The practice of Garbha Samskara is still popular in India and is considered an important part of prenatal care for many expectant mothers.

An amazing school
An amazing school which has some really talented teachers. I did 200Hour Yoga Teacher Training course and I was very new to this field, had no prior experience with Yoga…but they made it really easy for us to understand and was very supportive throughout. After completing the course, I see a lot of changes in me, be it physical, mental or spiritual. Ram sir is the best, his classes are very knowledgeable and fun at the same time. I really enjoyed the process and going back with a lot of knowledge and change in me. Grateful to the teachers, fellow students and the management for being so supportive 🌼

Yoga Teacher Training In Rishikesh
I Can Say This the one the best yoga school In Rishikesh if you want to do best yoga teacher training in rishikesh this is one of the best yoga schoool in rishikesh . However, I was supported and encouraged by the whole group. I really enjoyed the philosophy lessons, the teacher was inspiring and made it easy to learn the very basics of how yoga is a way of life, to help you find your truth. Still a lot to learn, but fantastic start. Meditation was also a highlight, especially dance meditation which I can’t wait to do again, it gives you such a natural high, couldn’t sleep or eat after as it creates a lot of energy in your body. Learning the mantras was also a highlight, beautiful!! - Vinyasa & Ashtanga teachers, were very professional with a good sense of humour and non judgemental. thank you for helping me!
