FAQS - 500 HOUR YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

500 hour Yoga TTC is a very intense course for 2 months. However, if done with full dedication one will learn a lot about the holistic Yoga practise and make it a part of their daily lifestyle.

RYT 500 is a certification for yoga teachers indicating that they have completed 500 hours of training through a Yoga Alliance approved program. This advanced certification builds on the RYT 200 certification, requiring an additional 300 hours of training. RYT 500 teachers have a deeper understanding of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and advanced teaching techniques. They are qualified to teach more advanced yoga classes and workshops, and are considered experts in the field.

The main difference between a 200-hour and a 500-hour TTC (Teacher Training Course) in yoga is the level of training and depth of knowledge provided. A 200-hour TTC is an introductory course that covers the basics and is designed to give students a solid foundation for teaching beginner-level yoga classes. On the other hand, a 500-hour TTC is an advanced course that builds upon the knowledge gained in a 200-hour TTC. It covers more advanced topics on pranayama, meditation, sequencing, and advanced anatomy. It also provides more in-depth training on teaching techniques and methodology and requires more practice teaching hours.

As 200 hours is for absolute beginners, and after gaining the knowledge, practice and experience of 200 hours, one can definitely go for 300 hours in the following month which will make them 500 hour certified. It is not the level but the mindset that will help to progress throughout the course. Even at a beginner level if you are determined to embody the yoga practices, you can do this course as it is not limited to asana but other aspects of Yoga as well.

You will have a detailed theory class on Yoga anatomy and alignment where you learn body alignment and how to use them to go safely into a posture.
